Note: The latest branch of Rasane and nobody eat there when we came for dinner. The menu doesn't put price in it that we feel not very transparent in pricing.
Their signature dish is Kepiting Asap which is smoked crab with special spices sauce wrapped in banana leave. The crab is nice and tender and sauce is good for accompanying the crab. Prepared to pay high price for the crab, especially if you order the female crab.
Sayur Asem is an Indonesian traditional vegetables soup originally came from Sundanese. The soup taste sour and sweet. Some of the main ingredients are corn, young jackfruit, long bean, peanut, chili, labu siam (chayote) and melinjo (paddy oats). Good for raising appetite.
Terong Bakar (grilled eggplant) also nice and tender.
Salad Mangga Muda (young mango salad is good also for appetizer or eat with the main dish.
If you like hot and spicy, don't forget to order Sambal Terasi made of fresh chili, spices and shrimp paste.
